The Alluring World of Erotic Hypnosis

Hypnosis is bullshit, they say? No, something that feels this good must be very, very real…

Alright, look, there are some things — practices, concepts, ideas — that are absolutely legit but have been sullied by shysters since the 19th century. One of these is hypnotism. A concept largely ruined by therapists that should be on their own couches, and by “UFO researches” (big quotation marks there), this is something that was once considered hard science, and rightfully so.

Fortunately, it’s making a comeback, but not in the way you might expect. “Erotic hypnosis” has been gaining traction in recent years, piquing the interest of curious individuals looking to explore the depths of their sensuality and desires. By blending the power of hypnosis with erotic themes, it offers an alternative way to experience pleasure, intimacy, and self-discovery. But what is it really?

Erotic hypnosis — also known as “hypnoerotica” or “hypnofetishism” — is a practice that combines hypnosis with eroticism. To be clear, hypnosis is a trance-like state in which an individual becomes highly suggestible, allowing them to tap into their subconscious mind. When hypnosis is applied in an erotic context, it can lead to sensual experiences, enhanced sexual fantasies, and even hands-free orgasms. So how does this work?

Erotic hypnosis works by guiding an individual into a hypnotic state through relaxation techniques, suggestions, and mental imagery. Once in this trance-like state, the hypnotist introduces erotic suggestions and scenarios, allowing the person to explore their fantasies, desires, and kinks on a deeper level. The power of the mind is harnessed to create vivid and immersive experiences, heightening the sensations and emotions that accompany erotic thoughts.

Granted, for some people the idea of losing control during intimacy is a complete renob (put that word up to a mirror if you don’t get it), so erotic hypnosis may not be for everyone. Those who are drawn to it, however, often find a range of benefits, including:

  • Enhanced intimacy: For couples, erotic hypnosis can strengthen emotional connections and foster deeper communication by exploring each other’s desires and fantasies in a safe, non-judgmental space.
  • Increased sexual pleasure: By tapping into the power of the mind, erotic hypnosis can heighten sensations, leading to more intense and satisfying sexual experiences.
  • Overcoming sexual issues: Erotic hypnosis can help individuals work through sexual inhibitions, performance anxiety, or past traumas, as the hypnotic state allows for a safe exploration of these issues.
  • Personal growth and self-discovery: Engaging in erotic hypnosis can help individuals better understand their desires, kinks, and boundaries, promoting self-acceptance and personal growth.
  • Stress relief and relaxation: Like traditional hypnosis, erotic hypnosis can induce deep relaxation and serve as a form of stress relief, leaving individuals feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

As with any intimate activity, communication and consent are crucial. If you want to try it, ensure that you and your partner have discussed your desires, boundaries, and comfort levels before engaging in erotic hypnosis. It is also essential to seek guidance from a qualified and reputable erotic hypnotist or to educate yourself thoroughly before attempting self-hypnosis.

Erotic hypnosis offers an exciting avenue for deepening intimacy, overcoming inhibitions, and enhancing sexual pleasure. By exploring this (very real) practice with respect, consent, and an open mind, you might just unlock new realms of sensual enjoyment.

Trust me, you won’t be getting very sleepy… ;)
